Vallée du Rhône

The Rhône River’s banks are home to prestigious wines as well as full-bodied, supple, and fresh wines. In short, an eclectic mix of grape varieties, colors, and terroirs from north to south makes these the oldest wines in France. First, there is the northern region stretching from Vienne to Valence, and the more extensive southern region, which runs from east to west, stretching from the Nîmes area to the Luberon. The wines range from delicate to dense to full-bodied, with a generous character throughout.
