Although this tradition dates back many decades, the widespread popularity of winter sports has brought Savoie wines into the spotlight. Subtle and pleasant native grape varieties transform these terroirs, clinging to the mountain slopes, into exceptional wines. It sometimes seems incredible that grapes can ripen so quickly in these harsh, snow-covered climates, but the people of Savoie have dedicated themselves to bringing out the best in them through hard work, always with selflessness and humility.

When I taste a “Savoie” wine, I always look for that floral note that pairs perfectly with the region’s cheeses.
