Côtes de Gascogne

Ahhh!!! Gascony and the Gascon people… Not only do I find high-quality wines there that blend rich fruitiness with a robust, dense structure, but I also discover a multitude of old, indigenous grape varieties. Planted, cultivated, studied, aged, and tasted-until they reveal the full potential of this land, which offers such generosity and diversity. This region, at once tranquil and steeped in tradition, is captivating for its hard work and dedication to its terroir and grape varieties.

However, I also see men and women here who have a love for feasting, for the grand table, and for friends (even those just passing through). The bon vivant is always welcome, provided they have an appreciation for what is good and beautiful. Just like the wines they cherish… We must applaud them endlessly, and let the celebration continue.
