Bourgogne

A vineyard steeped in history, first studied and established by monks and later developed by the Dukes of Burgundy. The estates range from the prestigious to the modest, with 84 appellations covering just 4 per cent of France’s vineyard area. The dominant grape varieties are mainly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which produce wines of extreme finesse and worldwide renown. The terroirs are incredibly diverse and varied, promising great complexity.

Finally, you will better understand my attachment to this magnificent region, as my maternal grandmother was from Burgundy and I spent all my childhood holidays in Chablis.
