Whisky

On this planet, where I am merely a temporary guest, there is such a vast and diverse array of whiskeys that it leaves me speechless. The more I explore it, the more I discover. This spirit does, after all, have its origins in Scotland or Ireland-I wouldn’t want to offend anyone’s sensibilities. However, it is essentially a distilled grain spirit. I’ve had the chance to meet some true enthusiasts, and through my interactions with them-and seeing the sparkle in their eyes-I realized during tastings that the nuances are endless. Whiskey never goes out of style and remains a staple not only for our aperitifs but also for the end of our-let’s say-“festive” evenings.
I love Sunday evenings in winter: night has fallen, it’s raining, it’s cold outside, and here I am on a sofa or in an armchair in front of a fireplace-the mere sight of which warms my body, mind, and soul. I’m sitting there, relaxed, without any pretensions, “sipping” an aged whiskey-or at least the one I love… Simplicity… thank you.
